Grand Canyon Lodge-North Rim is located in Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona at Bright Angel Point. The only lodging on the North Rim, this renowned Lodge and location is more remote and less crowded than the South Rim and features dense, forested trails in its nearby surroundings. The Lodge was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1987. Accommodations (219 rooms) include Frontier, Western and larger Pioneer cabins, plus motel units—all either on or within easy walking distance of the Canyon rim. The North Rim lies at the southern end of the Kaibab Plateau and is approximately 8,500 ft. in elevaton. Those wishing to see the Canyon from both rims should plan on a 215-mile drive between Rims. Additional points of interest on the North Rim include Point Imperial, Cape Royal, and Point Sublime.
