Grand Canyon Lodge - North Rim
Grand Canyon National Park

Grand Canyon Lodge-North Rim is located in Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona at Bright Angel Point. The only lodging on the North Rim, this renowned Lodge and location is more remote and less crowded than the South Rim and features dense, forested trails in its nearby surroundings. The Lodge was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1987. Accommodations (219 rooms) include Frontier, Western and larger Pioneer cabins, plus motel units—all either on or within easy walking distance of the Canyon rim. With a picture-window view of the Canyon, diners enjoy elegant healthy meals served in the Lodge's beautiful historic dining room. Dinner reservations are a MUST! Sign up in the lobby for a mule ride to the Canyon floor or hike various distinctive Kaibab Trails near and around the Lodge. From here, guests often continue their Circle Tour itinerary to southern Utah to visit Bryce and Zion Canyon National Parks.

Open seasonally from May 15 - October 15, 2016

Guest rooms include: motel rooms, as well as a variety of cabins for different groups' sizes and budgets (some ADA cabins available). Reservations highly recommended; can book up to 13 months in advance

PET POLICY: Pets are not allowed in motel units or cabins

North Rim Visitor Center/Bookstore near Lodge; open 8am-6pm daily

The North Rim lies at the southern end of the Kaibab Plateau and is approximately 8,500 ft. in elevaton. Those wishing to see the Canyon from both rims should plan on a 215-mile drive between Rims. Additional points of interest on the North Rim include Point Imperial, Cape Royal, and Point Sublime.
